Billabong Pro Jeffreys Bay ON in Pumping Conditions at Jeffreys Bay

JEFFREYS BAY, South Africa (Saturday, July 23, 2011) – The Billabong Pro Jeffreys Bay, Event No. 4 of 11 on the 2011 ASP World Title season, will recommence this morning with Round 3 at 7:15am in consistent four-to-six foot (1.5 metre) surf.
After navigating a period of tricky swell, event organizers have been greeted with excellent conditions this morning, opening with Round 3 of competition and putting Rounds 4 and 5 on standby.
“It’s been a lengthy wait but we’re excited to have such good surf on offer today and will be making the most of it,” Rich Porta, ASP International Head Judge, said. “We’ll start this morning at 7:15am with Round 3, 30-minute heats and put Rounds 4 and 5 on standby. Good luck to all our competitors today.”

Up first this morning will be Jeremy Flores (FRA), 23, against Daniel Ross (AUS), 28, in Heat 1 of Round 3.
